Preschool Assistant Teacher

Coventry Christian School is seeking a Preschool Assistant Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This role would require assisting the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans, communicating with parents regularly, creating intentional engaging activities, and supervising and monitoring the safety of children within the classroom. 

 

Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ability to sign and affirm the school's statement of faith

• Active membership in a Bible-believing Christian Church

• Experience in working with preschool aged children

Building Substitute Teacher (Secondary School)

August 2023 Start Date

Part Time - 30 hrs / wk

 

Coventry Christian School is seeking a Building Substitute for the 2023-2024 school year in the Secondary (Middle and High) School. This role requires delivering substitute lessons for planned and unplanned teacher absences; fulfilling other teacher duties such as taking attendance, monitoring students during lunch, recess, or dismissal; reporting disciplinary concerns; and maintaining classroom cleanliness. On occasions when no subbing is required, the Building Substitute Teacher would be given other projects and responsibilities at the discretion of the Secondary Dean of Academics.

 

Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ability to sign and affirm the school's statement of faith

• Active membership in a Bible-believing Christian church

• Experience working with middle and/or high school aged children
